Company Story

Comfort Interior Designss was established in 1979. We began as a manufacturer of consumer furniture in Singapore. Just like most Singapore business start-ups, we had our humble beginnings too. Our factory then was no more than 5000sq feet, with just around 35 employees. Now, our local warehouse spans over 14,400 sq feet, and we have three showrooms on top of that.

In 1985, our manufacturing plant relocated to Malaysia. Our Malaysia factory is located in Johor Bahru, a close 45mins drive from Singapore. This factory covers over 2 hectares of land and employs more than 100 factory workers. Our focus in manufacturing was made stronger after this relocation, and we began supplying consumer furniture to major departmental stores in Singapore, as well as to Courts Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, as well as the Caribbean Islands.

Due to recent market changes, we have developed a new arm in our sales division. This new division focuses on providing tables and chairs to commercial projects like the Food & Beverage industry, the Hotel industry, Offices, Schools, as well as other types of commercial requirements. To ensure that we have showrooms and salespeople accessible to everyone, we opened two more showrooms on top of our existing flagship store at Eunos. They are at Rochor Road and The Plaza, Beach Road.

Our company’s strengths include more than just supplying tables & chairs. We are also specialized in doing customized furnishings and renovation works. Recent projects include renovation & furnishing to Hotel Windsor @ Macpherson Road, Broth restaurant @ Duxton Hill, Saycheezecake & The Cookbook @ Great World City, and much more. We are also able to provide turnkey solutions, which includes space planning and interior designing.
