WE ANSWER YOUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSQ1: Why just 2 types of mattress?
We like to focus on things that are important to you, so the best possible product is made available to you at the best prices. We create 2 types of mattress firmness that a typical person would require and this cuts out all the unnecessary confusion.
Whether you go for FIRM (Regular) or MEDIUM FIRM (Hybrid) based on your preference, you will enjoy minimal motion transfer from your partner with the intelligent use of individually pocketed springs. The Regular version comes with high density foam, and the Hybrid version combines high density foam & memory foam.
Q2: Why is BATON SLEEP mattress priced so much lesser than a mattress sold in a retail store?
Most mattresses are priced unrealistically high. By selling online, the sale is done direct from the factory to consumers. This cuts away the layers of mark ups (Multiple channels of distribution, advertising, high showroom rental and so forth). By compressing it into a box, we reduce the storage & delivery costs too. No pushy salesperson. Just a brilliant mattress sold at a price that is fair.
Q3: 30 nights free trial and free returns?
Yes, we mean it! We are confident that our mattress will suit you comfortably. However, if for any sound reason you do not find the mattress to be suitable within 30 nights from the date of delivery with minimum 14 nights sleep-in period, drop us an email with your contact and order details at: help@comfortfurniture.com.sg
We will arrange for a free collection and refund you the full amount. Absolutely no hidden re-stocking or transportation fees will be charged. Please note that only 1 mattress per household is allowed for the return (see Q4)
Note: Please allow for at least 2 weeks for your body to get accustomed to your new mattress before you initiate a return. Mattress must be in excellent condition and not found to be dirty, damaged, odoured or abused. We reserve the right to refuse the 30 nights return policy to anyone associated with a mattress manufacturer or brand.
Q4: Is there a limit to how many times I can get my mattress exchanged?
While there is no limit to the number of mattresses that your household can purchase, only one mattress is entitled for the 30 nights free trial return.
If a mattress is returned from an initial order, the customer or shipping address will not be eligible for additional 30 nights free trial on subsequent orders.
We recommend staggered purchases if you’re still unsure about the product, or alternatively you may drop by our showroom to test out the mattresses before buying.

Q5: Is delivery free for all mattresses?
Yes! We do not have any hidden costs and we deliver for free for all mattress sizes.
Q6: What happens to the returned mattress?
Your returned mattress will be donated to the needy. We work with Willing Hearts, a charitable organisation, to make this happen.
Q7: What does the 10-year warranty cover?
Your Baton mattress is built to last and the pocketed springs are covered by a 10-year warranty from the date of purchase.
If your mattress fails within the 10-year period through normal wear and tear, we will either repair or replace it.
The warranty does not cover physical abuse or damage to the structure and/or cover material, including and not limited to burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage, stains, improper handling, foam depressions and product shipped out of Singapore.
The original purchase invoice must be presented in order to be covered under the warranty. If identical materials are not available at the time of repair or replacement, Comfort Design Pte Ltd reserves the right to substitute comparable materials or models.
Any warranty claim is only applicable within Singapore made by the original purchaser.
Q8: Do I have to unbox the mattress myself?
Our delivery man will set up the mattress for you. But in the event that you would like to DIY, just let our delivery man know.
Q9: How long does it take for the mattress to inflate when I remove it from the vacuumed packaging?
It takes up to 72 hours to get the mattress fully inflated right out of the vacuumed packaging. During the inflating, you may already start to use it.
Q10: Do you dispose of my old mattress for free?
In order to keep our logistics costs low, we do not provide free disposal of old mattresses.
However, if you are living in an HDB estate, you may contact your Town Council as they provide complimentary "Bulky Household Item Removal Service" for residents.

Q11: Do we have to flip or rotate the mattress over time?
Our mattresses don’t require flipping. As for rotating, it’s up to your personal preference.
Q12: Can I use a mattress protector with Baton Sleep Mattress?
We understand that mattresses get stains from time to time and you wish to protect your Baton Sleep Mattress by using a mattress protector. We have thought of a better way — removable mattress cover with zip for easy removal. Time for a wash? Unzip the cover (which will take less than a minute) and off it goes for cleaning.
Furthermore, you will not be able to experience the cooling effect from the mattress’ fabric if you use a mattress protector.
Q13: What would be the recommended method of washing the removable cover?
The removable cover is easy to clean as it is machine-washable for added convenience! It is recommended to wash it in cold water on a gentle setting, then tumble dry on low heat.
Set your washer to one of these modes:
(i) Delicates / Gentle
(ii) Bedding / Duvet
Q14: Can we purchase the removable cover separately?
Unfortunately, we don’t sell these covers separately.
Q15: Is the Baton Sleep mattress certified in terms of safety?
CertiPUR is a US organisation that ensures the foam used in our mattress is safe and toxic-free. This is extremely important as we spend at least 8 hours every day on the mattress and you want to be sure that you are not inhaling any harmful substances. What this certification means is, our mattresses are:
✓ Made without ozone depleters
✓ Made without PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants
✓ Made without mercury, lead, and other heavy metals
✓ Made without formaldehyde
✓ Made without phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission
✓ Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million)
Q16: Is your mattress anti-dustmite, anti-bacterial and odour-resistant?
Our mattress is not treated with these 3 specifications as it comes with removable cover that allows for washing.
These mattress treatments involve harsh chemicals. However, with a Certipur-US certification, our mattresses are certified to contain no harmful chemicals.
We believe that regular washing is more effective than a one-time treatment that will deplete over time.
Q17: Can I test out the mattress before purchase?
