Thank you for shopping at Comfort Design. We are pleased that you’re choosing to buy the things we take pride in making. Whether you are doing your shopping at our showroom or online, we want you enjoy the process and have the best furniture shopping experience.

Like shopping at any other places, there are terms and conditions that apply when you perform transactions with Comfort Design. It is considered that you agree to the terms drawn up by Comfort Design when you place an order or make a purchase with us. These terms go alongside with Comfort Design’s Data Protection Policy as well as Terms of Use.

 

I. 7-DAY CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURN POLICY (after delivery)

Changed your mind about the product you bought? It’s okay. Just contact us via email at help@comfortfurniture.com.sg within 7 days of receiving the product and we will make the necessary arrangement for the return and refund subjected to these stated conditions:

  1. The item is to be in its original delivered condition with packaging intact along with any free gifts received.

  2. Wall-mounted items such as shelving units will not be accepted once they have been mounted.

  3. Items not eligible for returns:

  1. Customised items

  2. Indent items

  3. Leather furniture

  4. Glass furniture

  5. Marble furniture

  6. Polycarbonate (PC) furniture

  7. Display units

  8. Items marked as "Sale", "Promotion" or any form of Clearance Sale

  9. Pillows

  10. 3M range of products

  11. Accessories like posters and cushions

  12. Synthetic grass, plant and tree collection

 

The Return

You will be contacted by our Logistics team to arrange for a schedule to collect the item requested for return. Once the item has been collected by us and evaluated, then the refund will be performed. Refunds will be issued within 14 days, in the form of a credit back to the original mode of payment.

That said, Comfort Design reserves the rights to reject a return if we deem the condition of the item to be contradicting to our policy.

 

The Refund

Shipping is regarded as a hard cost we incur logistically. Should you decide to return an item, 30% of the original invoice value will be deducted as a form of re-stocking fee. The re-stocking fee is deemed as the administrative, logistics and handling cost incurred for the return.

If our Logistics team will be picking up the item for your place, an additional $30 pick-up fee will be deducted from the sum. Alternatively, you may choose to self-return the item to our store; within our office hours.

Should your premise be non-lift accessible for our products to exit your place, we’ll have to charge $10 per ITEM per STOREY for using the stairs.

 

As such, you will be refunded the following: Purchase Price – 30% Re-stocking Fee - $30 Pick-up Fee (if applicable) – Stairs Charges (if applicable) = Refunded Amount (S$).

Kindly note that the re-stocking fee will still apply should you return the item and replace it with another.

 

II. CANCELLATION (before delivery)

Any cancellations initiated by the customer at least 7 working days before the scheduled delivery date will not incur any cancellation fee, with the exception of the 3% merchant fee (charged by the various payment gateways). 

Any cancellations initiated by the customer within the 7 working days of the scheduled delivery date will incur a 30% re-stocking fee. This means you will be refunded the following amount: Purchase Price – Re-stocking Fee = Refunded Amount (S$).

Refunds will be issued within 14 days, in the form of a credit back to the original mode of payment. That said, Comfort Design reserves the rights to change the refund payment mode.

Cancellation of order is not-applicable to the following (Comfort Design Pte Ltd reserves the rights to amend the list without formal notice):

  1. Customised items.

  2. Indent items.

  3. Display units

  4. Items marked as "Sale", "Promotion" or any form of Clearance Sale

Should you wish to cancel your order, please notify us via email help@comfortfurniture.com.sg.

 

III. ORDER CONFIRMATION

The sales order will be issued in the following ways:

  1. When an order has been placed at the showroom, our sales staff will issue you the sales order on the spot.

  2. When an order has been placed online, the sales order will be emailed to you within the day of purchase.

You are to confirm the item(s) purchased as well as the lead time for the item(s) to be delivered or collected. You will be responsible in the accuracy of the information on the sales order as Comfort Design will not be obligated to fulfill the order should there be any discrepancies after 48 hours from the time the order is placed.

 

IV. DELIVERY

The Delivery Terms & Conditions’ page contains comprehensive information on how as well as when the products you purchased from us will be delivered to you. As there might be unforeseen circumstances occurring once goods leave our facilities, your order can be affected and Comfort Design shall not be held liable for late deliveries. That said, we pride ourselves in ensuring our customers like yourself receive their orders within the agreed schedule.

 

V. BUNDLE AND PURCHASE WITH PURCHASE (PWP) ORDERS

Comfort Design serves to provide the best value for our customers therefore bundle deals and PWP sales have been carefully planned and priced. As such, when a customer initiates a cancellation for order of such nature, the item(s) will revert back to its original price(s). An example of a bundle deal: buy bedframe and mattress to enjoy $100 bundle discount.

 

VI. PRODUCT INFORMATION

Comfort Design’s relevant department is responsible in ensuring description of all products are accurate, with some information provided to us by our suppliers. In some circumstances, our website will contain errors and inaccuracies in information and we reserve the rights to make amendments, without formal announcements, even after your order has been placed.

Natural items such as wood and marble will have grains, marks and patterns that are unique to each piece. Therefore it is inevitable to see the noticeable variations between the item you purchased and from the images you see on the website.

Our graphics team prides themselves in ensuring colours of products shown on the website have been accurately adjusted and corrected. Colours can appear in different shades from screens to screens and this shall not be taken as a form of error.

Our goal is to regularly update the content of our website. That includes making sure amendments are made timely hence we reserve the rights in correcting inaccurate information that have been brought to our attention.

 

VII. 30-DAY PRICE PROTECTION POLICY

Comfort Design offers a time frame of 30 days, from the date of purchase, for any customer to exercise the Price Protection Policy. Should the regular-priced item purchased goes on sale within 30 days, you will be issued a price adjustment credit voucher. Please note that the item must not be delivered yet in order to enjoy this Price Protection Policy.

You can only exercise this policy if the item you purchased is not of the following:

  1. Items on sale due to defects or last-piece

  2. Items already on promotional price

  3. Bundle sales

  4. Item on storewide sale

  5. Item purchased using limited time promo code (e.g. Promo code issued during a festive sale such as ‘CHRISTMASSALE20%’)

VIII. RETURNING OF BATON SLEEP MATTRESS

Q: 30 nights free trial and free returns?

Yes, we mean it! We are confident that our mattress will suit you comfortably. However, if for any sound reason you do not find the mattress to be suitable within 30 nights from the date of delivery with minimum 14 nights sleep-in period, drop us an email with your contact and order details at: help@comfortfurniture.com.sg 

We will arrange for a free collection and refund you the full amount. Absolutely no hidden re-stocking or transportation fees will be charged. Please note that only 1 mattress per household is allowed for the return 

Note: Please allow for at least 2 weeks for your body to get accustomed to your new mattress before you initiate a return. Mattress must be in excellent condition and not found to be dirty, damaged, odoured or abused. We reserve the right to refuse the 30 nights return policy to anyone associated with a mattress manufacturer or brand.

 

Q: Is there a limit to how many times I can get my mattress exchanged?

While there is no limit to the number of mattresses that your household can purchase, only one mattress is entitled for the 30 nights free trial return.

If a mattress is returned from an initial order, the customer or shipping address will not be eligible for additional 30 nights free trial on subsequent orders.

We recommend staggered purchases if you’re still unsure about the product, or alternatively you may drop by our showroom to test out the mattresses before buying.
